Exhibitionism
In a way, at its very basic level, the concept of exhibitionism and naturism are not overly far separated from each other.
The reason that I have made such a bold statement is that at its core, exhibitionism is quite simply about living life naked or participating in everyday activities without clothing.
With thar said, the biggest difference is that, again on the outside, a naturist acknowledges and tries to remain within the realms of what is considered socially acceptable and only practices their nude lifestyle in places where it is accepted or safe to do so.
In opposition to this, a person who explores exhibitionism would be a person who enjoys and embraces a nude lifestyle but also gets excitement, a rush of adrenalin or dare I say it – maybe even a thrill out of either the risk of being seen or making sure they are seen by others while being naked.
In the age of the internet, instances of exhibitionism are becoming, not only wider performed but also meeting a larger audience through social media and other methods.
There is also at least one market for those who are willing to perform acts of an exhibitionist nature as part of a dare or for financial gain – people who under normal circumstances would potentially prefer not to be seen nude but don’t want to be seen as declining a challenge.
